Breath
Irradiated by
These lingering emotions
If anything
could we take it back
Sometimes when i walk these halls
I feel like I'm not alone
This isn't where you live
But this is your home now
Rather,
Much less a home
than another stop on this train ride of life
We all know you don't have long before your next departure
But your smiling face keeps us hopeful while you're still around
Though your bodys changed, your soul remains the same
And those eyes are just as big as ever
Oh I never wanted this
Nobody expected this to happen
Not to you
Is it fair to assume there was time to say you were loved
was there time enough
or was the time wasted before you were gone
was there room to improve
was it all too new to know
I never
(WANTED THIS)
I never wanted this to happen
I thought about it enough to know you've had your fill of this
Radiation
Cut it out of me
I don't care for the loss of blood
It kills me to see
To know I won't be
To know that I can't be enough
God are you wasting my time
Were you wasting your time
Oh god are you wasting our time
Are you wasting it
No the light
Shining down on your fading eyes
It's time to let you go
No
I don't want you gone

Really great. If you like Hail the Sun, DGD, I can't recommend these guys enough. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Dwellings makes swancore with a twist - to my ears they have a more progressive-focused sound, and the lyrics and themes are always interesting and are what keeps bringing me back for another listen. The opening and titular track of this album really sets an early precedent of excellence for the rest of this masterpiece. These guys are doing it like nobody else, give them their damn flowers. elliebean69
